But also not forgetting about the other memory types we offer for memory upgrades on Hewlett-Packard printers like the PhotoSmart, DeskJet, and LaserJet. Hewlett-Packard Company commonly known as HP began in the 1940's by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, graduates in electrical engineering from Stanford University. Their first successful product was a precision audio oscillator. The Walt Disney Company was actually one of the earliest customers of these HP oscillators, and used them in their surround sound theaters for the movie Fantasia. As the HP Company grew they became recognized as a founder of Silicon Valley. In the 1960's, Hewlett-Packard developed a semiconductor device, that would be used in instruments and calculators. Not until the 1970's; however, did HP the first personal computer that looked like and operated like a calculator. Further down the road in the 1980's Hewlett-Packard introduced both inkjet and laser printers for their desktop computers. Over the years HP has d systems that are trusted, reliable, and affordable for people everywhere. Their systems are designed to last and with that memory upgrades are sometimes needed.
