CompactFlash Type II, also known as CF/II, delivers ultra-high capacity storage in a card approximately the size of a matchbook. It performs in a variety of systems including Handheld & Pocket PCs, PDAs, and high-resolution (megapixel) cameras.

The CF/II card is identical to the standard CompactFlash card except the thickness is increased from 3.3mm to 5mm. The additional 1.7mm thickness allows for maximum potential memory capacity. Devices with CompactFlash Type II slots will accept Type I CompactFlash memory cards.
